Thought this wud be interesting to some of the viewers....
I am very happy...how this media could turn optimistic suddenly about this issue.
Not that i blame India for losing the game.
I understand that winning and losing are part of any game. But how??
I am not a big time cricket watcher... But the way the Indians played against the lankans was miserable and i feel pity for them. There are somethings that has to be there as part of the game like aggression, attitude and the need to win which was lacking from our side. Not that i am blaming a single person but the whole team.
From what i observed the cricketers forgot that they were playing the Cricket World Cup 2007. Someone should have reminded them of this. Only the best team goes into the super 8 and India has no place there. It's a waste if Bangladesh loses and India enters the super 8 with many things lagging.
India do not deserve this world cup (actually cannot) and start preparing for 2011 with some major changes in the team.
They are not super heroes and they do not have super powers. They are normal human beings
who can play a game called cricket.
I also strongly believe that players should have a limit in their commercials which has to be decided by the concerned boards. Though some may disagree with me, i am sure some disadvantages are there because of these things.
Cricket should be treated as yet another game. There are many good games other than cricket.
I don blame cricket. But how it has turned now is a concern....
It is also wrong that some sensitive mob behave in such a way when our team under
performs in a match. It is also our responsibility to give support even when you don't perform
in stages like the world cup. And the main reason for such behaviour is that Cricket is the only game INDIA is good at excepting chess and few more.... If there are many games to get your attention and winners i guess these kind of issues will get reduced...
How many of us concerned about people who have the ability to perform but not able to go international because of lack of funds. You can always find news like this in papers. Its high time that we start realizing this.
So what has happened to media now??
Why is media not raising questions like "Why is INDIA not clinching any golds in Olympics or any international meets" now.
Its all the same...people, media and others will discuss this only in the Olympic season and totally forget about it. Whats the effort that is put for the next Olympics?? nothing....
So... If someone reads this post and realizes something and if some effort is taken then i have succeeded.
It calculates the seconds elapsed from January 1, 1970.
This is how the UNIX time stamp is converted into regular time in .net.
Dim variable As DateTime
' Here the regular date is changed to date from which UNIX date is calculated
variable = New System.DateTime(1970, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)
'Assigning the UNIX time stamp
Dim current_dt As DateTime = variable.AddSeconds(value_of_unix_timestamp)
' Getting date and time separately...
date = current_dt.date
time = current_dt.timeofday
We had a variety of things that was displayed in the show like dogs, birds, fishes, some hybrid plants and also some of the paintings, stamps and other stuffs by our college students...
Most of the crowd was to the dogs, rabbits and birds. Forgot to mention the aquarium that was diplayed which also attracted some people.
Here are some of the pics of the show.
This is just a piece of news and only little to be happy about. Because considering Japans domination for the past 2 decades in the list of billionaires , this piece of news shows Indian economy is growing in a faster rate.
But this is not something that can be cherished for ever... There are also some things that has to be kept in mind like Area, Business value, Technology and one more important thing - population.
24 Billionaires from 1.94% of world’s population - Japan
36 Billionaires from 17.09% of world’s population -
so something says that we still have a long way to go...but I am not saying that we are still under developed. We are developing and no question on that, but there are some fields where we are far behind like hardware, technology, manufacturing sector etc.
Also we have a blog by Krish Srikkanth in blogger - http://www.worldcupwithkrish.blogspot.com/ - Everything cricket.

Rule of Simplicity: Design for simplicity; add complexity only where you must.
Rule of Parsimony: Write a big program only when it is clear by demonstration that nothing else will do.
Rule of Transparency: Design for visibility to make inspection and debugging easier.
Rule of Robustness: Robustness is the child of transparency and simplicity.
Rule of Representation: Fold knowledge into data so program logic can be stupid and robust.
Rule of Least Surprise: In interface design, always do the least surprising thing.
Rule of Silence: When a program has nothing surprising to say, it should say nothing.
Rule of Repair: When you must fail, fail noisily and as soon as possible.
Rule of Economy: Programmer time is expensive; conserve it in preference to machine time.
Rule of Generation: Avoid hand-hacking; write programs to write programs when you can.

Have you ever wondered how google indexes all the pages of your website and how it is displayed...??
It’s done with the help of googlebot.
Can I have something hidden from google?
Yes...you can very well do it.
Consider a page varalu.html. If I don’t want this page to be indexed and reflected in any of the google results include the below line in red in the page inside the head tag.
What does the above sentence ultimately lead our lives to??
It has led into some kind of slavery to external things that do belong to us and are not permanent to us. In the recent past the amount of happiness and warmth felt when two persons meet after a long time was something great. But think of the present situation? The conversation starts with a “Hi”, continues with “How are you?” and ends with a “Bye” and “cya”.
What led us into this??
I would say technologies has led us into these unfamiliar situations which we have not realized unless a nocturnal animal like me thinks about that one night and types this at 2.30 when people around me snore and people like you read this and start realizing… I am sure there are people who deny the above few sentences but there are some things that are sore, but have to be accepted.
When is the last time we wrote a letter (Hard mail) to someone we know or someone we love? Most of our answers will be a minimum of 2-3 years back. All communications are brought into the domains of yahoo and gmail where the fonts and smileys (:) … :( …:| ) are highly insufficient and incapable to express our emotions and warmth of our heart.
People are ready to transmit their vocal vibrations through wires and other media which in one way lifeless though we depend on some of them for life. For some the essence of enjoyment is to catch their loved ones in mysteriously connected networks and in Graham Bells magnum opus, than in person.
So what’s the point??
If you have come to the conclusion that I am asking you to stop all your present things (delete your contacts, throw your phones and delete all your internet accounts) and go back to the past. No, you are completely out of the track. There are some basic differences between necessity and sophistication which we deny to realize and accept.
People started to live with sophistication which has led to the present situation.
The meaning to “Keep in touch…” achieved with respect to necessity and sophistication matters a lot. To achieve “Keep in touch…” with help of sophistication led us into some kind of formal relationships, untruth etc. The point is to stop living for others and do things that you like the most and which you consider is right.
Above are few of the many things that have more self impacts. It’s not the technology and others to be blamed but the lack of self realization of people.
